My May Adventures: Cannes, Monaco, and Essential Beauty Products
It's been a while since my last post, but May was truly intense. Between photo shoots, the Cannes Film Festival, three Monaco Grand Prix races, a trip to Switzerland, and a trip to Brussels, time flew by in the blink of an eye.
May was undoubtedly one of the most intense yet rewarding times in my career. An incredible journey that saw me juggling glamorous and professional events, not to mention acquiring new and wonderful clients. It looks like it's going to be a work-filled summer! But one can't complain too much when living just steps from the sea: every free moment is perfect for a quick swim or a half-hour of sunshine.
Essential Products for an Intense Month
During this incredible month, I tested and used some products that helped me survive the intense pace and lack of sleep. These products have become essential for my business trips or short vacations. Here are my tireless allies for the month of May:
Estée Lauder Intense Hydrating Eye Cream
This eye moisturizer was my precious friend. Although it's designed as a night product, I used it in the morning too. It deeply hydrates and improves the texture of the eye contour, reducing the visibility of wrinkles.
Gucci Anti-Cernes and Hydra Concealer
This combo is perfect for covering dark circles. The Hydra Concealer covers the bluish tint that can appear under the eyes when you're very tired (I also used it to cover some skin imperfections). The Gucci Anti-Cernes creates a light, even cover without being heavy.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
To brighten the face, a dusting of this powder under the eyes and on the cheekbones gives a fresh and rested look, even with just a few hours of sleep.
BB Cream with Tinted Sunscreen
When there's no time for a full makeup routine, this BB cream offers amazing hold, high sun protection (50+), and a pleasant fragrance. I recommend applying it before the concealers for a natural and long-lasting result.
Valentino Brow Pencil
Recommended by my favorite makeup artist Anastasya Finko, this brow pencil is easy to use and offers excellent durability and precision.
L’Oreal Panorama Mascara
To highlight the eyes, a touch of mascara is essential. I appreciated the new Panorama by L’Oreal with the base on one side and the mascara on the other. Occasionally, I use the Panorama base with the Benefits mascara.
Ilia Multi-Stick
A bit of blush on the cheeks is a must. This multi-stick is versatile and can also be applied to the lips. For greater makeup longevity, Sephora's makeup setting spray is excellent: it prevents the mascara from smudging under the eyes, avoiding the panda effect.
These precious allies supported me during this intense period of events. Their durability is surprising and they can also be an excellent base for evening makeup. I hope the makeup artists won't mind, but when time is short, everything is allowed, even touching up day makeup and transforming it into evening makeup.
Now, it's time to head to my final destination for this month and then perhaps enjoy some well-deserved rest. Stay tuned for more adventures!
